Advanced 8K HDMI video with eARC support

The AVR-X1800H has a sophisticated HDMI section (6 in / 1 out) with three 8K inputs enabling 8K / 60 Hz and 4K / 120 Hz video pass-through flaunting 40 Gbps for the highest picture quality possible. The AVR-primary X1700H's output is eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) compatible, allowing object-based and uncompressed audio to be transmitted from your smart TV apps directly to your AV receiver. Enjoy cutting-edge technology including Quick Media Switching (QMS), which eliminates video delay in movies, and Dynamic HDR.

Feel the power under the hood

Each of the seven channels on the AVR-X1800H is equipped with a high-current discrete power amplifier. Therefore, even though 80 watts per channel may not seem like a lot of power on paper, this receiver has enough power to easily drive the majority of small- to medium-sized speakers.

The X1800H is a good option if you're short on shelf or cabinet space because it isn't as tall as Denon's bigger, more potent models.

Enhance your Music listening experience

The AVR-X1800H is excellent for listening to music as well as viewing movies.

Through Bluetooth or Apple AirPlay 2, you can play music from your phone or tablet. Over your Wi-Fi network, play your music library in digital format. A turntable's built-in phono input can also be used. Even tracks in high resolution can be played from a USB device. Setup Assistant and Audyssey room correction

Simple, detailed instructions on how to get started are provided in the Quick Start Guide that is included. The unique Denon Setup Assistant will display on your TV screen once your TV is connected and will guide you through setup step-by-step. The AVR-X1700H carefully examines the output of each speaker to optimize each channel using the built-in Audyssey MultEQ XT room acoustic monitoring technology and accompanying microphone.
